Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information
Your analytics choice — for this browser, and for your account when you are signed in
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never have. But we do use Google Analytics to understand aggregate usage, and California law defines “sharing” broadly enough that analytics tools can fall inside it. Rather than argue the definition, here is the switch.
Turning this on stops Google Analytics from loading on this site in this browser. If you are signed in, it is also saved to your account: Google Analytics then stays off on every device where you sign in, and our server stops sending Google Analytics the four events it otherwise reports for your account — when you start a trial, start a checkout, make a payment, and when one of your reports finishes.
It does not change your reports, your plan, or anything you have saved — and using it never costs you access, features, or a different price.
Signed out, this preference is stored in this browser only, so clearing your site data removes it — and if you create an account or sign in from this browser, it is saved to your account. Signed in, it is saved to your account and follows you to every device where you sign in. A Global Privacy Control signal is honored on every page; if your browser sends it when you sign up, sign in or check out, it is saved to your account too, and stays on until you turn GPC off and switch this off here. Switching it off clears it for your account and this browser, but it does not clear a choice saved in another browser while you were signed out — that browser keeps its own setting until you switch it off there.
Other ways to opt out
- Global Privacy Control. A browser-level signal we honor automatically, on every page, without you visiting this one.
- Google's opt-out add-on. Blocks Google Analytics across every site you visit, not just ours.
- Data contribution. Separate from analytics — opt out in Account Settings → Data & Privacy, described in Privacy Policy Section 6.
Your other rights
To know what we hold, get a copy, correct it, or delete it, email [email protected]. We respond within one month. If a request is complex and we need longer, we will tell you inside that window and why. Account deletion is also self-service in Account Settings.
